Telephone Love (2008)
Poetry
Is you in love? You lovin someone? You gettin some? Or you been tricked, cheated on, deceited? Or is you playin someone - or more than one?
Say yes to any of those questions and you need to read this book. In Telephone Love, heronJones exercises - ecstatically and exactly - the rapture of Rap. I mean grabbin hold of Truth, then settin down in dynamic discourse. And what he's got to say is what Ovid said, what Sappho sang, what Shakespeare wrote, what Walcott relates, namely the trouble and joy of the relationship.
